Brandon Sloan and Christopher Gentile are two local hotel chefs who are temporarily out of a job because of the pandemic. So, they decided to team to start a new business to give San Diegans what they love: pizza!
Their company, Pandemic Pizza, wanted to give back to the community somehow so they started donating a dollar of every pizza to a charity of choice every week. Then, their customers asked if they could start donating to local hospitals instead, so they did! Customers started ordering pizzas for themselves and then buying one for their local hospital staff and first responsdors.
You can order pizza and or pasta through Pizza Pandemic's Instagram account. They'll also deliver your donated pizzas to our local hospitals!
