Major League Baseball and Louisville Slugger announced its Silver Slugger Award finalists on Thursday, and Fernando Tatis Jr. was the only Padres' finalist, qualifying at two positions: outfield and utility. Tatis Jr. got off to a very slow start in the power department, but ended up turning in another fantastic offensive season, blasting 25 home runs while scoring 96 runs, driving in 83 and accumulating an .828 OPS. The winners of the Silver Slugger Award will be announced on Tuesday, November 17th.
