It's a celebration of all things "dog" with Rob and Joss during "Bark Week" on KyXy 96.5! Every day, we highlight an adoptable dog! This time around, it's "Moose" from Rancho Coastal Humane Society!
Here's some things about Moose:
Moose is a 3-1/2-year-old, 74-pound, male, Chocolate Labrador mix.
Moose was a stray in San Diego County. He was taken to one of our rescue partners, then later transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Services) program.
He was adopted, then returned one month later. His owners felt that they were not the right home for Moose.
Moose was left home alone for as long as 7 hours per day. At night he slept in the bed with his owners.
He needs a home where there is not a lot of commotion and owners who are willing to take it slow and give Moose an opportunity to settle in.
The $145 adoption fee for Moose includes medical exam, neuter, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if her new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services.
For information about adoption or to become a Virtual Foster visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, call 760-753-6413, or log on to www.SDpets.org.
Open 11 to 4 Friday through Monday, and by appointment Wednesday and Thursday
