Long Island, NY-based Emo rockers Brand New have revealed their highly anticipated return, announcing a very limited run of 2025 live dates, their first since 2017.

Though the band stated plans in 2016 that they would be winding down their touring and recording schedules within the next few years, a string of sexual misconduct claims sidelined the European tour Brand New had embarked on in 2017, and their hiatus officially began.

Addressing the 2017 allegations head on, frontman Jesse Lacey apologized for his past actions, which he admits “have caused pain and harm to a number of people… I do not stand in defense of myself nor do I forgive myself." He added, "I was selfish, narcissistic, and insensitive in my past, and there are a number of people who have had to shoulder the burden of my failures… I apologise for the hurt I have caused, and hope to be able to take the correct actions to earn forgiveness and trust.”

Most recently, the group got together to perform a secret “Friends and Family” benefit show at Nashville's Eastside Bowl this past December, led by frontman Jesse Lacey. At another show in Nashville this week, Lacey publicly spoke for the first time about the passing of his stepson in 2021 during a touching solo set mixed with Brand New tracks. “His name was Miles, and it was as hard as you can imagine,” Lacey explained. “Grief is a very hard thing to navigate, and I have found that for me, music lessens the poison of it.” Donations to Jesse and Andrea Lacey’s Moms Skate Club, a charity dedicated to supporting mothers in the skateboarding community, are welcomed.

Now, with a newfound need to express his thoughts and emotions, Lacey and the band will drop by a few more choice cities this year on a mini-tour. They'll currently be making their way through Dallas, TX on March 26, Newport, KY on March 28, and back to Nashville, TN on March 29. Presales start at 12PM ET on Wednesday, March 5 and you can grab your tickets by registering for early access via Brand New's updated website right HERE.
