Karen Blake is a Boston native. Her voice and energetic personality have been heard on Boston radio for over 25 years!
She’s been featured on Boston TV…contributing to Channel 7’s “Ready to Go” show and has been featured on “People Are Talking” and many other local entertainment programs. Karen has also been in many NATIONAL magazines with featured articles on her storied career. The most “fun” being a full-page article in “16 Magazine” as the closest DJ to “The New Kids On The Block”
Karen was named “Boston’s Woman of the Year” and was also named “Boston’s Most Popular Radio Personality” in the Boston Herald Readers’ poll and “Boston’s Most Popular Radio Personality” in the Rhode Island journal. Karen was also nominated “Major Market Air Personality of the Year” She was also featured with a full-page article in the Boston Globe as one of Boston’s top female radio personalities!
Karen is a graduate of Endicott College in Beverly…majoring in Radio, Television and Advertising. She was also chosen to be on Endicott’s Alumni Board.
Karen has interviewed hundreds of music artists and celebrities! Her favorite interviews were with…John Travolta, Tom Selleck and “The Rock” Her biggest thrill…having dinner with Richie Sambora!
Karen has also hosted hundreds of special events in and around the Boston area…and has emceed many concerts at major venues including The Garden! Her most interesting event was being the “Ring Announcer” for the “King of The Ring” event!
Karen has done extensive charity work with the “Make-A-Wish” Foundation, “The Genesis Fund” and has co-hosted The “Go Red” for women gala in Boston to benefit The American Heart Association.
Karen is a New Englander through and through! Her “happy place” is being anywhere on The Cape! Her favorite childhood memories are going with her family to “Storyland” and her family beach was “Wingaersheek” in Gloucester.
Karen’s favorite movies are…The Notebook and Goodfellas!

She is also an avid Boston sports fan! Her family was thrilled when she threw out the first pitch at a Red Sox game at Fenway!
