This man should give up shoplifting for good.
On July 3, 36-year-old Matthew Robinson allegedly walked into a Dick's Sporting Goods store in Altoona, Pennsylvania and proceeded to walk out with $2,000 worth of clothes and shoes that he did not pay for, according to Logan Township Police Department.

The Dick's Sporting Goods store is located in the Logan Town Center in Blair County, about 2 hours outside of Pittsburgh, PA.
The man was well on his way to making a clean getaway until he decided that he did not want one of the items he stole, local news station WTAJ reports. The man then walked right back into the sporting goods retail giant to return the shoplifted item.
When the man walked back in, employees accused him of stealing and he immediately fled the scene, according to the report. Altoona police were able to track Robinson down using surveillance footage and his license plate and placed him under arrest, police say.
All stolen goods were returned to the store, and Robinson is being charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property.
People on Twitter were quick to point out this criminal’s unwise decision. Radio host Sherry Fox took to Twitter, asking, “Hey Man! Have you ever heard of Ebay or Etsy?” suggesting the man could have avoided his inevitable fate by reselling the items online.
Police did not give any information on when the suspect will sit before a judge, but it's safe to assume Robinson's next outdoor trip is postponed until further notice.
