Savannah Guthrie celebrated her birthday the same way many people are amid the pandemic — with her family at home.
The “Today” co-host turned 49 on Sunday with husband Michael Feldman and their children, 6-year-old daughter Vale and 4-year-old son Charles “Charley” Max.
In an Instagram post, Guthrie shared two photos of the festivities with her kids, with “Happy Birthday Mom” written in large letters on the wall behind them.
“Instagram —> reality ❤️❤️,” Guthrie captioned the pics.
Feldman shared the same photos on his account with a touching caption to his wife on her special day.
“Happy birthday, @savannahguthrie ! Posed or candid, our mommy is the very best. Love you, so,” Feldman wrote.
Guthrie would go on to share more birthday pics later that day, sharing the moment she blew out the candle on her birthday cupcake.
“Wishes came true! 🎂,” she wrote in the caption. “Thanks for the love - especially @feldmike.”
Guthrie’s “Today” colleagues also reached out to Guthrie with some sweet words.
“Happy bday doll!!!” wrote Hoda Kotb.
“Happy Birthday, Savvie G!!” wished Al Roker.
“Happy Birthday @savannahguthrie!! Sending so much love for a great year!” wrote Kristen Welker.
Guthrie was one of the first TV stars to take operations virtual, anchoring “Today” from her basement when the pandemic escalated in March.
