“Falling for Christmas” is Netflix’s newest Christmas movie that just premiered November 10th. This one isn’t just any Christmas movie…this one is Lindsay Lohan’s triumphant return to our screens! Now you can tell my age when I say that because there is really only one group of people that can get excited about Lindsay returning to acting…those that grew up on her classics like “The Parent Trap,” “Mean Girls” and “Freaky Friday!” I hyped this movie up in my head and I am pleased to say that I wasn’t disappointed! Check out the trailer if you have no clue what I'm rambling on about...

"Falling for Christmas" official trailer

“Falling for Christmas” features Lindsay Lohan as a spoiled hotel heiress who finds herself with a bit of amnesia after a ski accident…I know, sounds familiar right?!? Thankfully, I decided to not judge the movie by it’s stereotypical cheesy movie plot and watch it anyway. The male lead in the movie is “Glee” alum Chord Overstreet as a handsome single father/small lodge owner in an adorable Christmas obsessed town…see where I’m going with this? I am the first to admit that most Christmas movies have the same cheesy plot and the same obvious ending but yet I watch them anyway…each and every one of them! This one features the same cutesy plot along with an adorable little girl, some gorgeous scenery and an odd townsperson that looks suspiciously like Santa Claus! It’s appropriate for the whole family so grab your favorite snacks and have a movie night!

If you love Christmas movies, give it a try but if you think they are cliché and dumb, I would skip it! I even teared up towards the end so you know it was well made! Lindsay treats us to a little singing and a lot of smiles because “Falling for Christmas” is the perfect addition to your Christmas movie lineup!
