    • The 42-year-old Zamboni driver subbed in as an emergency goalie for the Carolina Hurricanes over the weekend.
    • They were playing in Toronto and both Canes goalies went out with injuries.
    • He said that his phone started blowing up and one of the equipment guys came out and told him he had to get his stuff on…it’s time to go out there.
    • He allowed goals on the first two shots he faced before settling down and stopping the next eight, to get a 6-3 victory over the Maple Leafs.
    • He gets paid $500 and he gets to keep his jersey and is now the oldest goalie in NHL history to win his regular season debut.
    • He is also a kidney transplant recipient and the team will be selling t-shirts in his honor with proceeds going to a transplant charity.

    • Survey: Regular nappes are happier and more productive than non-nappers.
    • In almost all comparisons between nappers and non-nappers, those who nap seem better off.
    • Nappers are more likely to also identify as happy and confident.
    • But the biggest benefit of napping could be for your career…3 out of 4 said they consider themselves to be career-driven, compared to just 55% of non-nappers.
    • The survey found that the prime time for a nap is about 1:30pm and experts say it is no longer a sign of laziness, but a tool we can use to make us more productive.

    • They will begin enforcing member-only ban at its food courts.
    • If you’ve been going for cheap hot dogs and pizza and are not a member, you won’t be able to do that for much longer.
    • They say that buying items from the food court has always required a membership but they haven’t enforces it until now.
    • This will all start in March.
    • It costs about $60 a year for a basic membership.
