#Groceries
Study: Grocery prices are rising at the highest rate in 46 years due to the pandemic.
Have you noticed your grocery bills have been sky-high lately?
The overall price of groceries grew 2.6% in April.
The disruption in the food supply chain is being blamed.
When restaurants shut down, we started cooking at home and demand shot up.
The imbalance got even more out of whack when meatpacking plant employees started to catch coronavirus.
Some of the items seeing the biggest jump in price: eggs, cereal, milk, bread, juice, soup, sodas, cookies, fruit and meat.
