What's Trending: Adele's Transformation Causes Backlash, Elon Musk and Grimes Must Rename Baby

Adele

    • She pretty much broke the internet yesterday as she posted a photo on Instagram celebrating her 32ndbirthday.
    • In it she showed off her continued transformation and weight loss.
    • Her weight-loss secret reportedly has been the sirtfood diet, which focuses on foods that regulate a person’s metabolism and by hiring a personal trainer.
    • But some people say that all the accolades just show the double-standard with women and their weight and that your weight does not determine your beauty.
    • In the photo she also used the opportunity to thank everyone working the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.

    • TMZ is reporting that he and Grimes can call their newborn baby son whatever they want but that his legal name on his birth certificate will have to be changed.
    • His name is X Æ A-12, believed to have been born in California and it is against California law to include numbers or symbols in a name.
    • The law states names must only include the 26 letters of the English alphabet.
    • For clarification, Grimes tweeted a breakdown of what each character means: X is the “unknown variable,” Æ is her “elven spelling of Ai,” and A-12 is a type of CIA aircraft known internally as Archangel.
    • The best guess on how to pronounce the characters together would be “Ecks Ai Archangel.”

    • She has finally announced a release date for “Chromatica.”
    • Her sixth studio album had previously been delayed due to the pandemic.
    • Yesterday she posted on social media “The journey continues. You can officially join me on #Chromatica on May 29th.”
    • Though the record is back on track, fans are speculating that she will postpone her planned Chromatic Ball stadium tour which was set to kick off in Paris in July.

    • They have a new feature so you can send some love with food.
    • You can send food or drinks to your loved ones now.
    • To celebrate, they’re teaming up with Starbucks to let people send a drink or menu item from the coffee chain to whomever.
    • You just need to put in the address of the recipient and there’s no distance limit on the feature so you can send something to someone in a different state or even country if they have Uber Eats!
