YouTube held a national graduation ceremony for the Class of 2020 yesterday.
Many pop stars, celebrities and public figures came together to motivate, congratulate and celebrate their accomplishment.
Lizzo kicked things off with “Pomp and Circumstance” on the flute which started out traditional and then she was backed by the New York Philharmonic for a funkier version of the graduation staple.
There were other performances and speeches from Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Taylor Swift, BTS, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, U2, Billie Eilish, Jennifer Lopez, former First Couple Barack and Michelle Obama, and Katy Perry.

The NASCAR driver had a scare at Sunday’s race in Atlanta.
He was extremely fatigued after the race and he fell to the ground when he finished the three-plus-hour race in 21st place.
He sat down on pit road after that happened and he was interviewed by Jamie Little.
She asked him about NASCAR’s moment of recognition of racial injustice before the race when he passed out again during the interview.
He was taken to the infield care center where they reported that he was alert and talking to his crew.
#Loneliness
Study: Loneliness likely to decrease with age.
Research suggests that young people are more likely than older people to feel lonely.
Researchers asked people various questions to determine their loneliness including, “Do you feel left out?” and “Do you feel a lack of companionship.”
Those that were younger reported greater feelings of loneliness and experts think it could be due to the different expectations younger and older people hold.
They also found that loneliness was more prevalent among men than women.
