    • The rock band is certainly up to something and now they’re facing the wrath of their haters.
    • The Canadian rockers tweeted this week “FRIDAY 8/14” and the immediate speculation is that they were set to release their first new album in three years.
    • But instead of excitement, their well-wishes included tweets like, “Hearing they’re going to release an album so bad, it’ll force coronavirus to leave the planet forever,” “You don’t have to do this,” and “Geez, 2020 calm down.”
    • But they did have their supporters come out. One commented, “Reminder that you people only hate Nickelback because it’s trendy and that they make bangers. This album is gonna slap.”

    • A musical about Princess Diana will premiere on Netflix ahead of its Broadway opening in 2021.
    • The show “Diana” was initially scheduled to open in March at the Longacre Theater in New York City.
    • Due to the pandemic, it was shut down 19 days before opening night while it was still in previews.
    • The show will be filmed without an audience for the Netflix premiere and it is set to debut in early 2021.
    • British actress Jenna De Waal will play Diana and she says is honored to play her.

    • The league is going to finally allow players to bring guests into the bubble environment in Orlando.
    • The guest list will open up to players beginning after the 1st round of the NBA playoffs.
    • The criteria for entrance is:
      • Four guests per player but can be exceeded for children.
      • Guests can travel on team charters following testing.
      • Guest will be allowed to attend games.
      • Any individual the player has not previously met in person or with whom the player has had limited in-person interactions will not be granted access.)
      • Other people NOT allowed include “agents, trainers, massage/physical therapists, personal chefs and tattoo artists.”
