    • William Karlsson wrapped things up with an empty-netter with less than a minute to go.
    • Next up is their game against the St. Louis Blues on Thursday in Edmonton.

    • An investor group that includes the actor and former WWE superstar has agreed to purchase the XFL for about $15 million.
    • The XFL declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April and have been looking for a buyer ever since.
    • The sale still has to be approved by a bankruptcy judge this Friday but if approved, the league will be on track to play next season.
