The Blues took the lead in the first period with former Golden Knight David Perron scoring.
They woke up in the second period with goals from Shea Theodore and two from Alex Tuch before St. Louis scored back-to-back, pulling ahead of the Knights 4-3.
The third period was huge for them with goals from Zach Whitecloud, Mark Stone and another from Theodore.
The final game of round robin play is Saturday vs. the Colorado Avalanche and the winner will get the #1 seed from the Western Conference.
