Yesterday was the season premiere of the 18th season of The Ellen Show.
She addressed allegations of a toxic production environment in her opening monologue saying, “I learned that things happened here that never should have happened. I take that very seriously and I want to say I am so sorry to the people that were affected. I know that I am in a position of privilege and power and with that comes responsibility and I take responsibility and I take responsibility for what happens at my show.”
She says that changes have been made to improve the workplace and that they have now started a new chapter.

Survey: Nearly 25% plan to Trick or Treat despite cities clamping down.
That’s despite a number of cities cancelling events and parades.
Just 35% of Americans say they will put out candy for trick-or-treaters, which is down 14% from last year.
Experts are predicting a surge in infections this fall, so many cities are advising people to keep their groups small and celebrating with at-home parties instead of going out and making contact with others.

For $1200, you can get the denim that is designed with grass stains around the knees.
The wide-leg jeans are made from organic cotton “specifically treated for a stained-like, distressed effort.
The label also launched a pair of overalls with the same effect for $1400.
