o If you're a huge "Wicked" fan and can’t wait for the movie, you may not like this news: AMC Theaters are not going to let you sing along.
o They're running a 30-second warning set to clips from the movie that says, quote, "No talking. No texting. No singing. No wailing. No flirting. And absolutely no name-calling. Enjoy the magic of movies."
o An AMC spokesperson says the chain has, quote, "a long-standing policy that prohibits disruptive behavior."
o No doubt other theaters will enforce a similar policy.
o But, just like with the Taylor Swift "Eras Tour" movie, it's probably going to be hard to keep fans quiet.
o Theaters around the country WILL hold special screenings where audience participation is encouraged but they don't start until Christmas Day.
