o The singer says she was the victim of a hate crime while trying to board a flight in Munich.
o She shared a series of stories on Instagram, saying that it happened on the German airline Lufthansa.
o She claims that she was discriminated against when she spoke Albanian to an airport security guard.
o She said, “I’ve been threatened because I thought the security agent was Albanian. I spoke to him in Albanian asking where to get my ticket and now he is banning me from the flight.”
o She said that the employee started to “mentally abuse” her and intimidate her while no one helped.
o She also said that she tried to get his name but he would not give it to her.
o Later she updated her followers saying, “I have never been so emotionally drained. @Lufthansa has direct messaged me but I urge them to do a full investigation on finding out who this man who was abusing his power is. An ‘I’m sorry’ is not gonna cut it this time.”
o She did eventually get on the flight and she made it home safely.
o Lufthansa said it is conducting an internal review on the matter.
