#BettyWhite

o   Yesterday would have been her 100th birthday and her assistant celebrated by sharing on of the final photos taken of the late icon.

o   She wrote, “Hello everyone! It’s Kiersten. Betty’s assistant. On this special day, I wanted to share this photo of Betty. It was taken on 12/20/21. I believe it’s one of the last photos of her. She was radiant and beautiful and as happy as ever. Thanks to all of you who are doing kind things today and every day to make the world a better place.”

o  Many people took the opportunity to donate money to various animal causes in her name yesterday and Google also honored her by showing its search page with rose petals, a nod to Rose, her character from “The Golden Girls.”

#SantaClause

o   Looks like Tim Allen has been missing the North Pole because he’s going to put his Santa suit on again!

o   He’ll star in and produce a limited “Santa Clause” series for Disney+.

o   It will be about how his character Scott is going to be turning 65 and realizing that he needs to find a replacement to be Santa Claus so he can return to the normal world with his family.

o   A release date hasn’t been announced, but production is supposed to start in March.

#SleepyChicken

o   Doctors are saying the new “Sleepy Chicken” TikTok trend is a horrible idea and extremely dangerous.

o   Users are posting videos showing how they cook chicken using Nyquil, with some of the ideas showing people boiling raw chicken in the medicine for just five minutes before serving it.

o   First, it's just an insane amount of NyQuil.  When you boil it down, the water and alcohol evaporate, but the drugs are still in there, so you're basically loading a chicken breast up with WAY too much medicine, and you could overdose.

o    But also, when you boil liquid medicine like that, you can end up inhaling some of it, which is also bad.

o    When that happens, it bypasses your liver and goes straight into your bloodstream without any toxins being filtered out.  And just that alone can mess you up.

o   Bottom line, only take medication under a doctor’s supervision and only take it the way it is meant to be taken.
