o Some of the biggest names in music appeared last night for the 2022 BMAs.
o The show was hosted by Diddy and he actually opened the show with a performance with Jack Harlow and Teyana Taylor.
o Mary J. Blige won the Icon Award and it was presented to her by none other than fellow icon, Janet Jackson.
o Not all the awards were broadcast and many were announced before the show. And unfortunately, a lot of those winners did not attend.
o The award for Top Artist went to Drake. He also won 4 other including awards for Top Male Artist and Top Rap Artist.
o Top Female Artist went to Olivia Rodrigo, who also won 6 other awards including Top New Artist, Top Streaming Songs Artist and Top Hot 100 Artist.
o Top Duo/Group went to BTS. They also won Top Song Sales Artist and Top Selling Song.
o Doja Cat was there and she took home 5 awards including Top R&B Album for “Planet Her” and Top R&B Artist.
o The performance of the night went to Megan Thee Stallion. She also took home the award for Top Rap Female Artist.
o Some of the evening’s most talked about red carpet looks include Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat. Anitta and Megan Fox.

o The two got married over the weekend…for real this time!
o They had a “practice wedding” here in Las Vegas on April 4th but this time they said “I do” in Santa Barbara on Sunday.
o This time they actually got a marriage license and it is actually legal.
o There were a few family members and friends in attendance.
o Sources say they will be having an actual wedding in Italy in the near future.

o The singer made her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live over the weekend.
o She started out her monologue talking about watching the show as she grew up with her mom.
o She also mentioned how lucky she has been to work with some Hollywood Icons, including her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short and, of course, her the big, purple dinosaur Barney.
o But it was an impression that made her start trending.
o She said she called one of her oldest friends, Miley Cyrus, for hosting advice and did a dead on impression of her saying, “Just be yourself and have fun.”
