o   The singer says that there is a younger singer that she is very protective of.

o   She opened up in an interview with The Los Angeles Times and revealed that she feels “a protectiveness over” Olivia Rodrigo, in part because she was the first young artist to break into superstardom after her.

o   She even revealed that the song “Goldwing” off of her Happier Than Ever album was inspired by her.

o   Soke of the lyrics in the song include, “They're gonna tell you what you wanna hear. Then they're gonna disappear. Gonna claim you like a souvenir. Just to sell you in a year.”

o   She admits that she sees herself in all of the young girls that are coming up in the industry saying, “Boys can handle themselves. They’re dudes — they don’t have to deal with it like we do. I just want to hold everybody in a little glass box and never let anything touch them.”

The show is this Sunday and more performers are being announced.Just announced this week, K-pop group Stray Kids, known for their songs “Lalalala” and “S-Class,” are slated to perform.

They’re also up for 2 BBMAs for top global K-pop artist and top K-pop album for 5-Star.

Also performing from Atlanta will be country star Morgan Wallen.

He’s up for 16 awards and will perform “98 Braves” with an audience featuring members of the 1998 Atlanta MLB team at the Braves’ current home of Truist Park in Atlanta.

Other previously announced performers include David Guetta and Bebe Rexha, Karol G, NewJeans and Peso Pluma.

The show is this Sunday at 5pm airing exclusively on the BBMAs website and social channels.·

#Cinemark

o   The cinema chain Cinemark has partnered with DoorDash, Grubhub, and Uber Eats to deliver movie theater concessions to customers' homes.

o   They’re the first national movie theater chain to partner with all three delivery services.

o   The offerings include popcorn, candy, hot dogs, nachos, chicken wings, and ICEEs, with delivery rolling out to all domestic Cinemark locations by the end of the year.

o   While prices for items like popcorn and hot dogs may not be particularly cheap, there are also merchandise options available for delivery, including limited-edition Taylor Swift-themed popcorn buckets and cups.
