Bruce Springsteen Pleads Guilty of DWI

o   The singer pleaded guilty yesterday to one of the three charges related to his November arrest at Gateway National Recreation Area in New Jersey.

o   His lawyer said that he voluntarily plead guilty to a violation of consuming an alcoholic beverage in a closed area.

o   He agreed to a fine of $500 and the charges of driving under the influence and reckless driving were dropped because the prosecutor was “unable to provide the necessary evidence.”

o  The rocker has no previous criminal record.

o   He is done playing Borat!

o   The actor, who is nominated for a Golden Globe for his work in Borat Subsequent Movie Film, say it all goes back to safety.

o   He told Entertainment Tonight, “It got too dangerous. There were a couple of times I had to put on a bulletproof vest to go and shoot a scene, and you don’t want to do that too many times in your life. I was pretty lucky to get out this time, so no, I’m not doing it again. I’m going to stay with the scripted stuff.”

o   We’ll see him Sunday when the Golden Globes air live on NBC at 5pm PST.

o   Tommy Pickles, Angelica, Chuckie, Phil and Lil…they’re coming back!

o   Nickelodeon has revealed that the voice cast behind the original animated series will reprise their roles for the revival on Paramount+.

o   They released a first look at the show on social media yesterday.

o   The CG-reimagining of the series follows the toddlers as the explore the world from their pint-sized point of view.

o   The show was on for nine seasons over the course of 13 years but Paramount has not announced a release date yet.

o   It is set to reopen next month with a new event!

o   It’s called “A Touch of Disney” and it will be outdoors at the park.

o   It’s a “limited-time ticketed experience,” which opens on Thursday, March 19th from 12pm to 8pm through April 5th.

o   Tickets must be purchased in advance and will go on sale on March 4th.

o   According to a press release, you can “enjoy classic Disney Parks treats you’ve craved for months, Character sightings and shopping experiences.”

o   The treats will be snack-sized.

o   Disneyland has been shuttered since last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
