o The singer just kicked off her Vegas residency at Voltaire at the Venetian and she just got attacked by the flu bug.
o She made the announcement in all caps on social media yesterday saying, “AFTER WELCOMING ALL OF YOU TO THE NEW YEAR FROM THE STAGE IN LAS VEGAS, I’VE BEEN WELCOMED WITH A NEW YEAR FLU!!! I’M SORRY TO SHARE TAHT MY TWO SHOWS THIS WEEKEND WILL BE RESCHEDULED WHILE I REST — AND I CANNOT WAIT TO BE BACK ON THAT STAGE IN A FEW WEEKS. I’M INCREDIBLY PROUD OF THIS SHOW AND GRATEFUL FOR ALL OF THE SUPPORT AND LOVE AFTER OPENING WEEKEND SEE YOU SOON.”

o The creator of Voltaire said that it’s going around and several members of the cast and crew have been sick.
o He also added that both shows were “oversold,” and fans who had purchased tables or tickets would be refunded if they can’t make the rescheduled dates.

She recently posted a snipped of her appearance in this week’s episode of Finding Your Roots.
In it, she finds out that she’s actually distant cousins with former New York Yankees baseball player Derek Jeter.
The PBS series shows celebrities as they look through their ancestral histories, discover secrets and share their reactions with viewers.
Host Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr. explained, "That is your DNA cousin,” explaining that the two share a "long, identical stretch of DNA on their 14th chromosome, DNA which we know Derek inherited from his mother."

Valentine’s Day is around the corner and one new candy just landed.
Sweethearts are those little "conversation heart" candies with messages like "Be Mine".
This year, they're doing a special version for single people who are caught up in SITUATIONSHIPS.Oxford English Dictionary defines a "situationship" as any "romantic or sexual relationship that is not considered to be formal or established."
So more than a hook-up but not exclusive. It made Oxford's shortlist for Word of the Year in 2023.
Starting next week, Sweethearts will sell boxes of "Situationship" hearts that look just like their normal candy.
The only difference is the words are blurry and hard to read ( just like Gen Z relationships are hard to read.)
Their press release used the term "literal mixed messages."
It sounds like they might even be repurposing their misprinted hearts and just tossing them in a box.
