o The rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs was arrested this week following raids on his homes earlier this year, reportedly connected to a federal sex trafficking investigation at the time
o The indictment against him has now been revealed. Combs has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution.
o The indictment accuses him of leading a criminal group that coerced women into participating in drug-fueled sex parties under threats of violence and loss of financial support.
o After the parties, the women would often be so exhausted that they needed IVs to recover.
o During the raid of Diddy's homes earlier this year, the feds reportedly seized narcotics, firearms with defaced serial numbers, and 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant.
o He's also accused of physically abusing women by striking, punching, kicking, dragging, and throwing things at them
o This includes the 2016 incident with his then-girlfriend Cassie at an L.A. hotel, which was captured on video.
o If convicted, he faces the possibility of life in prison,
o He has pled not guilty and offered a $50-million bond, but bail was denied.
o Judge Robyn F. Tarnofsky ordered Combs be detained while awaiting trial, with a trial date not yet set.
