o Sean “Diddy” Combs says he “takes full responsibility for his actions” after video was released of him assaulting singer Cassie in 2016.
o He posted a video this weekend saying that he’s not making excuses for his behavior and that he “hit rock bottom.”
o He also says that he has sought professional help after the incident.
o Notably, while he offered a general apology, he never apologized directly to Cassie.
o She had described the attack in a lawsuit she filed back in November and they settle one day later.
o After that he released a statement on social media, saying “I did not do any of the awful things being alleged” and that “Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday.”
o Cassie’s legal team says that he is a hypocrite and that he mislead the public.
