o The global icon surprised fans yesterday by respectfully bowing out of her recent nomination for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
o In a message posted to Twitter, Dolly said, “Even though I am extremely flattered and grateful to be nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, I don’t feel that I have earned that right. I really do not want votes to be split because of me, so I must respectfully bow out.”
o She went on to say, “I do hope that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will understand and be willing to consider me again -- if I'm ever worthy. This has, however, inspired me to put out a hopefully great rock 'n' roll album at some point in the future, which I have always wanted to do! My husband is a total rock 'n' roll freak, and has always encouraged me to do one. I wish all of the nominees good luck and thank you again for the compliment. Rock on!"

o On March 9th, 2020, the band was the first major artist to pull the plug and postpone their Spring 2020 tour dates due Covid concerns.
o Nearly two years later, they are back and hitting the road with their 2020 North American tour dates officially rescheduled for May and September 2022.
o And they’re coming to Las Vegas on Friday, May 20th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
o There will be a presale for fan club members but no general public sale. All public tickets will be available through Ticketmaster Verified Fan Registration, which is open now through Sunday, March 27th at 10pm.
o The Verified Fan on sale begins on Tuesday, March 29th at 10am.
