· Ed Sheeran is planning an album release from beyond the grave.
· The project will be titled Eject, and yes, this is real.
· He just dropped his eighth album, Play, on Friday, but he already has a vision for at least five more records: Pause, Fast Forward, Rewind, Stop, and finally Eject.
· Sheeran revealed that Eject is included in his will. His wife Cherry will choose the tracks for it.
· The idea is to create a carefully curated posthumous album of the 10 best unreleased songs he has written since he was 18.
· In his words: “You know how posthumous albums come out, but they’re sort of unplanned. I don’t want to go and someone just to jumble up stuff and put it out. I want it to be planned.”
