o The country music star has been accused of sexual assault and batter in a new lawsuit.
o The complaint, which was filed in California on Thursday, was filed by a woman who worked as a hair and makeup artist for his wife, Trisha Yearwood, and then for him.
o She claims that the alleged incidents happened in 2019.
o The woman claims that Garth brought her with him to Los Angeles for a Grammy tribute to Sam Moore.
o She realized as they boarded his private jet that it was only the two of them traveling.
o She also claims that once they got to Los Angeles, she found out that he had only reserved one hotel room for the two of them, even though she requested a separate room.
o It was at that point that she graphically describes the assault after he fully disrobed in front of her.
o The woman said that she went on to do his hair and makeup the next day for the event because she needed the job and was experiencing financial hardship, citing that Garth preyed on her financial situation.
o She is suing him for damages. Garth Brooks has not responded.
