o   Las Vegas’ hometown band is sharing their rise to stardom.

o   This week Hulu shared the trailer for the upcoming Imagine Dragons documentary, Live in Las Vegas.

o   The film shows footage of Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee and Daniel Platzman telling their story of being a local band and becoming one of the biggest rock groups in the world.

o   Hulu described it saying, “Far from the days of playing in dive bars and casinos across the Las Vegas Strip, Imagine Dragons returns home to perform at the city’s largest stage, Allegiant Stadium, in a triumphant concert film that showcases the band's rise to fame and the city that helped shape their sound.”

o   Live in Las Vegas premieres on Hulu July 14.

#Time

o   The magazine has just come out with their list of the 100 Most Influential Companies of 2023.

o   It’s made up of “a diverse group of 100 businesses helping chart an essential path forward.”

o   The “Titans” category includes Disney, Apple and TikTok, while the “Innovators” group includes Formula One, Taco Bell and Crocs.

o   Duolingo, Patagonia and Chipotle are in the “Leaders” category, and the “Disruptors” category includes Canva, Discord and Stability AI.

#TheWeeknd

o   Critics have been trashing The Weeknd's new HBO show "The Idol" and those critics now include OREOS.

o   Last week there was an unsubstantiated rumor that HBO was already canceling it, and the Oreos Twitter account said, quote, "Finally some good news."

o   The Weeknd got wind of that tweet this week and he replied, quote, "Oh [eff] they been talkin [crap]."

o   But before a full-on war could erupt, The Weeknd squashed it.

o   He said, quote, "Naw I can't beef with you Oreo, too many beautiful memories . . . I'm dunking you in some champagne tonight."
