o He got into a fight with two men at the Aria on Tuesday when they called him “Usher.”
o Witnesses say that Derulo and one of the men were passing each other on the escalators when one of the men trolled him by yelling, “Hey Usher! F*** you, b****!”
o The artist responded by punching the man in the face which resulted in him falling on the floor.
o TMZ is reporting that Jason laid hands on the second man and security was called to break up the fight.
o He was removed from the property and so far, the two men who provoked him did not press charges.

o The show is this Sunday and they are still a go, minus some of the usual glamour.
o There will not be a red carpet this year, because there will be no audience of nominees in attendance following the rapid surge in Covid cases.
o Only “select members and grantees” will be in the room as the awards are announced.
o The show recognizes the best in film and television from the past year, according to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
o The Golden Globes will also not be televised after NBC said they were out following outrage sparked from an LA Times expose that reported there were zero Black members within the HFPA.
o They have since made updates and revisions after calls to boycotts, including Tom Cruise who returned all three of his Golden Globe trophies due to the controversy.
