o Are JLo’s future residency plans in Las Vegas in jeopardy?
o The NY Post is reporting that she was in talks for a $90 million residency that would guarantee her $1 million per show for 90 dates.
o But now, executives are seeing her new album and upcoming concert tour flop, which is cause for concern.
o Her album “This Is Me…Now” came out in February with lackluster sales.
o And now, several dates on her summer concert tour have been cancelled due to tack of interest.
o Back in February The Mirror reported that MGM and Live Nation offered her more than $800,000 a show but Resorts World swooped in to offer $875,000 per show.
o That’s when MGM came in with the $1 million per show deal which they are reportedly regretting, with some sources saying that no deal was ever officially signed and they are continuing to discuss.
o MGM has not commented.
o Lopez will be at the T-Mobile Arena on July 20th and there are still tickets available, some for as low as $65.
o Other artists that make similar money per show include Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars.
o Adele makes the most for her residency at Caesars Palace at $2 million a show.
