·      Netflix and Sony are officially reuniting for KPop Demon Hunters 2, with the sequel targeting a 2029 release.
·      The animated blockbuster followed a K-pop girl group, Huntr/x, who battled demons through music, becoming Netflix’s most-watched movie ever.
·      The soundtrack spawned real-life hits including “Golden,” “Your Idol,” and “Soda Pop,” which all climbed streaming charts.
·      The sing-along version earned $18 million its opening weekend, showing the power of the fandom.
·      Co-director Maggie Kang told Variety there’s more story left to tell: “We’ve set up so much for potential backstory” and “There’s a lot of questions that are left unanswered.”
·      With that tease, fans are already counting down to Huntr/x’s next mission.
