o    Fans are worried about the star after he has gone MIA on social media.

o    He’s known for engaging with his fans on Twitter and Instagram and the last time he did that was nearly two months ago on December 6th.

o    He actually last posted on December 17th in a series of now-deleted tweets that said he had tested positive for the coronavirus, saying “COVID really sucks.”

o    Fans have noticed and now they’re flooding Twitter and wondering where he is and if he’s ok.

o    So far, his representatives have not responded.

#Facebook

o    People are leaving Facebook!

o    They lost over 20% of their value in just one day.

o    In the last three months of the year, the platform lost around 500,000 daily logins.

o    On an average day, they have about 1.93 billion users checking in.

o    This week, Meta, the company that runs Facebook lost 22.6% of its value on the stock exchange which translates to a $200 billion loss.

o    Mark Zuckerberg says it’s because people are spending more time on other apps like TikTok.

o    Back in October 2020, the Coca-Cola company announced it would be “reshaping its beverage portfolio” saying they’d be discontinuing some of their longtime products, including Odwalla drinks, Coca-Cola Life, ZICO coconut water and Tab.

o    And fans of the diet soda didn’t take the news well.

o    Tab has been around since 1963 and despite sales slowing since the 1970s and 1980s (the heyday for those pink cans), a lot of folks still want it.

o    Since the news that the plug was being pulled on Tab, devotees have taken action.

o    They’ve formed a group called the SaveTabSoda Committee that works on “coordinated call days,” where they call the Coca-Cola customer service line to try to persuade the company to change its mind.

o    The organization also started on online fundraising campaign which has raised over $1700 in donations that will be used to help their cause.

o    But they didn’t stop there! SaveTabSoda members also launched a Change.org petition that has over 3000 signatures so far.

o    Despite the best efforts of the Tab superfans, the Coca-Cola Company doesn’t seem to be backtracking on their plan, saying “We appreciate the passionate legion of Tab lovers who have reached out and who embraced the brand for nearly six decades.”
