o Her book, From Here to the Great Unknown, was released yesterday and people are talking about some of the stories that were revealed.
o She wasn’t able to finish her memoir before she passed away so her daughter Riley Keough finished it for her.
o In the book she opens up about the death of her son Benjamin Keough in 2020.
o She kept her his dead body at her home for two months after he passed because she could not decide where to bury him.
o He was laid on dry ice and kept in a room that was set at a temperature of 55 degrees.
o She wrote, “ found a very empathetic funeral home owner. I told her that having my dad in the house after he died was incredibly helpful because I could go and spend time with him and talk to him. She said, ‘We’ll bring Ben Ben to you. You can have him there.’”
o She said that time allowed her to care for him and be with him until she was ok with laying him to rest.
o Benjamin was eventually buried at Graceland, where Lisa Marie is also now buried.
o She also writes about her relationship with Michael Jackson.
o She said that the King of Pop confessed his love to her during a trip to Las Vegas, even though she was already married to Danny Keough.
o She realized she loved him too and left her marriage.
o She also said that he confessed that he was a virgin at age 35 and wrote, “I was terrified because I didn't want to make the wrong move."
