· Macklemore's Seattle home was broken into by two masked burglars while his children were inside.
· According to The Seattle Times, the intruders entered through a patio door early Saturday morning, sprayed the nanny in the face with bear mace, and demanded to know where the jewelry was.
· The nanny, who had just put the kids to bed, told police one of the men actually helped her rinse her eyes after spraying her.
· She led them to a bedroom where they stole thousands in jewelry, watches, and shoes.
· The men also took her phone and threw her to the ground — but she fought back, biting one of them before escaping to a neighbor's home to call 911.
· The whole ordeal was caught on doorbell camera footage, including the nanny banging on a neighbor’s door for help.
· Macklemore was performing in Ireland during the break-in.
· Police say the nanny wasn’t seriously injured, and the suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.
