·      Madonna is officially back in album mode.

·      The pop icon has announced her first new record in seven years, and it will be a full-on dance album set for release in 2026.

·      The timing is especially notable because she has just re-signed with Warner Records, the label that helped launch her career in the early 1980s.

·      She reflected on that history in a statement, saying, “From being a struggling artist in New York City to signing a record deal to release just three singles, it seemed at the time my world would never be the same again and in fact that couldn’t have been truer. Since the beginning, Warner Records has been a real partner with me. I am happy to be reunited and look forward to the future, making music, doing the unexpected while perhaps provoking a few needed conversations.”

·      Fans are especially buzzing because Madonna teased that this new album will serve as a sequel to her beloved 2005 project Confessions on a Dance Floor, which remains one of her most celebrated dance records.

·      With her return to Warner Records and her promise to keep pushing boundaries, the “Queen of Pop” seems set on reminding the world why she has dominated music for more than four decades.
