o The Madonna biopic is back in the works!
o This week the Material Girl posted photos to her social media showing her typing away as she rewrites the script for the movie.
o It’s now being titled Who’s That Girl, which is a nod to both her 1987 album and movie that she starred in that same year.
o The long-awaited biographical film was shelved indefinitely last January to accommodate her hectic schedule, including her 40th-anniversary Celebration Tour that began last summer.
o She also said that she will direct the movie herself as a way to stop “misogynistic men” from tell her story saying, “I’ve had an extraordinary life, I must make an extraordinary film. No one’s going to tell my story, but me.”
o Though no further details about the flick have emerged just yet, we do know that Ozark’s Julia Garner is still going to be playing the role of the pop queen.
