o   The singer expressed her disappointment after not being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2024, despite being nominated for the first time this year.

o   In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, she shared that many people expected her to get in, leading her to be excited about the possibility.

o   Carey humorously pointed out that her lawyer, Allen Grubman—a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame co-founder—was inducted in 2022 before she was.

o   Eligible for induction since 2016, Carey has an extensive career with numerous hit albums and songs, particularly in pop and R&B.

o   On a more positive note, Carey recently celebrated the unveiling of her new wax figure at Madame Tussauds in New York City.

o   The likeness is crazy! She posted on Instagram with photos and videos of her children admiring the wax figure, which honors her iconic “Queen of Christmas.”
