The Queen of Christmas is back!

Like clockwork, she rang in November 1st by dropping a video that shows her defrosting and ready to kick off the holiday season.

The video takes place inside a frozen safe where scary characters, skeletons, and pumpkin heads blow-dry a block of ice, which contains Carey inside. The ice finally gives way once she sings, “It’s time!”

Meanwhile, she may change her mind about unthawing as she is facing a $20 million lawsuit over the song “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

The lawsuit is filed by Andy Stone and Troy Powers, who allege that Carey's 1994 hit infringes on the Vince Vance and the Valiants’ 1989 song with the same title

o   They claim that Carey's version shares substantial similarities in hook, melody, and vibe with their original work

o   Stone had previously filed a similar lawsuit last year, which was dropped five months later

o   The singer continues to tease new music! The question is, when is it coming?

o   Now we have an answer!

o   Sources said she wasn’t set to make her full musical return until next year but this week she’s been teasing fans.

o   On Tuesday she shared a sample of her upcoming single.

o   There was a coded message at the end of the clip and, based on that, it would appear that the song is titled “Houdini.”

o   People are also noticing that the images related to the album are very similar to the imagery that Kate Bush used on her album “The Dreaming,” which also has a track called “Houdini.”

o   Then yesterday, she officially announced that yes, “Houdini” is out on Thursday, November 9th at 3pm PST.

o   You don’t have to wait until Turkey Day to get your stuffing fix, thanks to Trader Joe’s.

o   The supermarket chain has introduced a new snack last week, Thanksgiving Stuffing Seasoned Popcorn.

o   A couple of years ago, TJ’s gave us Thanksgiving Stuffing Seasoned Kettle Chips, and now they’re bringing that flavor to popcorn.

o    They describe it as “seasoned with a seasonally-appropriate blend of spices that includes celery seed, thyme, parsley, black pepper, and sage.”
