o A lot of new music out today including new singles from two pop music queens!
o Selena Gomez released her first new single in a year called “Single Soon” along with a new music video.
o And Miley Cyrus came out with “Used to be Young,” a song she wrote almost two years ago, during a time she says she melt “misunderstood.”
o If that’s not enough, Iggy Azalea and BLACKPINK both released new music, and SZA dropped a new music video.

o Speaking of new music, Ed Sheeran made a big announcement yesterday!
o He will release another album this year. It’s his second in six months and it’s called Autumn Variations.
o He said the concept was based on a composer called Elgar who composed ‘Enigma Variations’, where each of the 14 compositions were about a different one of his friends.
o He said, “Last autumn, I found that my friends and I were going through so many life changes. After the heat of the summer, everything either calmed, settled, fell apart, came to a head or imploded.”
o So he picked 14 of his friends, singing out what they were going through when fall came.
o The album comes out on September 29th.

o About a year ago, a guy at a Yankees game went viral after poking a hole through a hot dog and using it as a straw to drink his beer.
o The people at Oscar Mayer took note and are now making actual hot dog straws as a tribute.
o They're giving away a limited number each day between now and September 5th.
o You have to fill out a form online. If it says they're out, you have to try again tomorrow.
o To be clear, it's not a REAL hot dog like the one in the video. It's made of soft silicone and just looks like a hot dog, so you can gross people out without actually being gross.
o They said in a statement, quote, "While the viral 'Hot Dog Straw' divided the internet, we salute the brave man who paved the way to enjoy his hot dog as he wishes."
