o    A U.S.
District Court judge granted Nike a temporary restraining order against MSCHF, preventing them from selling and fulfilling any orders on specialty shoes.

o    This will block the sales of the new “Satan Shoes” put out by Lil Nas X this week.

o    666 pairs of the shoes were made and they sold out within a minute on Monday.

o    They custom designed Nike Air Max 97s and they have one drop of human blood in each pair.

o    The sneakers are $1,018 a pair and 665 of them were available online while Lil Nas X is giving away the final pair on Twitter.

o    Nike said in court documents that “Decisions about what products to put the ‘swoosh’ on belong to Nike, not to third parties like MSCHF.”

o    MSCHF says that Nike was fine with their Jesus shoes that came out over a year ago and the new Satan Shoes “started a conversation” and “is art created for people to observe, speculate on, purchase and own,” adding, “who is Nike to censor one but not the other?”
