o Last night was the 78th Golden Globe Awards hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
o The show was virtual as the two hosted from both New York and Los Angeles.
o The two joked about the difference between movies and TV saying, “You may be confused which nominees count as movies and which are considered TV. TV is the one that I watch five hours straight. But a movie is the one that I don’t turn on because it’s two hours. I don’t want to be in front of my TB for two hours, I want to be in front of the TV for one hour, five times.”
o Some of last night’s winners include “Schitt’s Creek” for best comedy, Jason Sudeikis for best TV comedy actor for “Ted Lasso,” Catherine O’Hara for best TV comedy actress.
o “The Crown” won several awards including Best TV Show Drama, and best actor/supporting actor nods for Gillian Anderson, Josh O’Connor, and Emma Corrin.
o Chadwick Boseman won for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for his work in “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” and his wife accepted the award on his behalf.

o Her dogs were found this weekend after they were taken last week and her dogwalker, Ryan Fisher was shot.
o A woman turned the dogs in Friday night after finding them tied to a pole in an alley.
o In the meantime, Ryan is expected to fully recover from the chest wound he inflicted and is being hailed a hero as he fought to protect the dogs.
o No word on if the woman who found the dogs will be getting the $500,000 reward that Gaga offered.
o The perpetrators are still at large.

o Yesterday was the final round of the WGC-Workday Championship and many golfers took the opportunity to pay tribute to Tiger after a serious car accident left him hospitalized and needing emergency surgery.
o Many wore Tiger’s signature red shirt and black pants that the golfer would wear on Sundays during tournaments.
o He tweeted, “It is hard to explain how touching today was when I turned on the tv and saw all the red shirts. To every golfer and every fan, you are truly helping me get through this tough time.”
o The winner, Collin Morikawa, had planned to join other players in honoring him but the gear from his apparel company didn’t arrive in time.
o When he won he said, “Tiger means everything to me. I hope he is all right and makes a quick recovery. Sometimes we don’t say thank you enough, and I wanted to say thank you to Tiger.”
