o    The show returns on October 2nd with four new shows!

o    Yesterday they announced the first four weeks of hosts and their respective musical guests!

o    Owen Wilson will kick off the season on October 2nd with musical guest Kacey Musgraves.

o    On October 9th, Kim Kardashian West will host with Halsey as the musical guest.

o    Rami Malek hosts on October 16th with Young Thug performing.

o    And Jason Sudeikis returns to SNL to host with Brandi Carlisle performing.

o    Study: 1 in 5 Americans turned to “heavy drinking” to cope with pandemic stress.

o    “Heavy drinking" was defined as having had two heavy drinking days in a single week at least twice in the previous 30 days.

o    A "heavy drinking day" was defined as four or more drinks containing alcohol for women and five or more drinks containing alcohol for men.

o    Women, in particular, increased heavy-drinking days by 41%

#McDonalds

o    They’ve announced that they’ll be phasing out plastic toys in Happy Meals.

o    They’re not ditching the toys themselves, just the plastic which they say will “drastically” cut by 2025.

o    That goal will reduce unrecycled “virgin” plastic use by 90% and that’s significant because McDonald’s sells more than 1 billion toys each year.

o    They’re also planning to recycle old plastic toys to make new restaurant trays.

o    As for the future, McDonald's is working with toy companies to develop things like three-dimensional cardboard superheroes, or board games with plant-based pieces

o    The new toys will begin rolling out in January.
