o   The singer is making headlines after she opened up in a podcast interview with Bunnie Xo.

o   In the interview, Elle was asked about her famous father, former SNL star Rob Schneider.

o   She said that her father was always working when she was growing up and that there was very little structure in her life.

o   She also talked about how her mother was her rock and she’d occasionally spend summers with Schneider, only to get lost in the shuffle on movie sets.

o   Elle also talked about her compulsive eating disorder as a pre-teen saying, “I was a really, really heavy child. My dad sent me to fat camp. It was rough. Then I got in trouble one year, I sprained my ankle and didn't lose weight. It was very toxic and very silly. I went two summers in a row, I was 11 and 12. They literally, you get like a slice of turkey and steamed vegetables for every meal and they make you work out, all day long."

o   She said the relationship has been very toxic and not in a good place.

o   Now, Rob Schneider is responding.

o   In a new interview with Tucker Carlson, he says “Elle, I love you and I wish I was the father in my 20s that you needed and clearly I wasn't and I hope you can forgive me for my shortcomings. I love you completely, I love you entirely and I just want you to be well and happy, with you and your beautiful baby Lucky. I wish you the best. I feel terrible and I just want you to know that I don't take anything you say personally."

o   That full interview will be out today.
