o Her songwriting is to be the subject of a new literature course at The University of Texas at Austin.
o The songwriting course focused on the 11-time Grammy Award winner's approach to crafting lyrics is called "Literary Contests and Contexts: The Taylor Swift Songbook,"
o English professor Dr. Elizabeth Scala will teach the course starting this fall.
o Swift's songs will now be read aloud alongside work by literary giants such as Chaucer, Shakespeare, Coleridge, Frost, and Keats, according to the university's website. "
o The course will use "the songwriting of pop music icon Taylor Swift to introduce literary critical reading and research methods-basic skills for work in English literature and other humanities disciplines," the university's website states. "
o New York University was the first to create a course in honor of Swift, however, their course covers the singer as a music entrepreneur, and focuses on the songwriters that shaped her work.

o He and his wife are calling it quits, she's filed for divorce after 25 years of marriage and is accusing the actor of moving assets from marital funds.
o Jennifer Flavin filed docs Friday in Florida and it’s unclear exactly why she decided to pull the plug on their marriage, but some fans started to sense trouble thanks to a recent tattoo coverup when the "Rocky" star removed an image of Jennifer's face from his arm.
