o He’s been teasing it in interviews and on social media but a New Year’s Day, he hinted that he’s ready to drop release it.
o He shared an Instagram post showing a text conversation between him and the founder of his record label, La Mar Taylor.
o La Mar wrote, “Happy New Year brother! What are we thinking??”
o The Weeknd responded, “Happy new year! Everything feels chaotic again. Music can heal and that feels more important than another album rollout. Let’s just drop the whole thing and enjoy it with the people…XO.”

o A new challenge is gaining momentum online and this one is amazing.
o In honor of Betty White, who passed away on December 31st at the age of 99, a challenge has started in her honor.
o Her 100th birthday is on January 17th and the challenge asks people to pick a local rescue or animal shelter in your area and donate just $5 in Betty White’s name.
o The goal is to make her 100th birthday the movement she deserves.

o He is no longer a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to head coach Bruce Arians.
o The wide receiver made a huge scene in the middle of the Buccaneers/Jets game yesterday.
o In the third quarter, Brown tore off his jersey and pads, sprinted onto the field during the game and flashed a peace sign to the crowd before running out through the tunnel.
o Coach Arians said that he requested that Brown enter the game but he refused.
o The coach then told him to “get out” and that’s when he made the scene.
o Bucs quarterback Tom Brady, who helped bring Brown to Tampa Bay, said, “That’s obviously a difficult situation.”
o He also added, “I think everyone should be compassionate and empathetic toward some very difficult things that are happening."
