#VinScully

o   The longtime voice of Dodger baseball has died at 94 years old.

o   The team released a statement Tuesday night that said, “Vin Scully was the heartbeat of the Dodgers and in so many ways, the heartbeat of all of Los Angeles.”

o   Dodger President & CEO Stan Kasten said, “We have lost an icon. The Dodgers' Vin Scully was one of the greatest voices in all of sports. He was a giant of a man, not only as a broadcaster, but as a humanitarian."

o   "His voice will always be heard and etched in all of our minds forever."

o   Scully started calling games for the Dodgers back in 1950, when the team was still located in Brooklyn. He continued to provide play-by-play for the team following its move to L.A. in 1957, calling nearly every one of the biggest moments in the Dodgers' history up until his retirement in 2016.

o   No cause of death has been announced.

#RoadHouse

o   Jake Gyllenhaal is coming for one of Patrick Swayze’s 80s gigs!

o   It was it has been announced that Gyllenhaal is going to take on Swayze’s iconic role in a remake of “Road House.”

o   The idea first surfaced in November of 2021, but now it's definitely in motion.

o   The 1989 flick was only a minor hit when first released – and a poorly reviewed one at that. But it has since attained status as a quintessentially cheeky, 1980s tough guy, bar-centered cult classic.

o   It sounds like this new version will up the action even more. Gyllenhaal will play the dive bar bouncer with the mysterious past as a former UFC fighter, and the setting will move from Missouri to the Florida Keys.

o   The new “Road House” is set to begin production in the Dominican Republic later this month, though no release date has been set.

#Snickers

o   A new seasoning blend that makes everything taste like SNICKERS is being rolled out to stores nationwide this month.

o   The Mars candy company partnered with a condiment brand for it.

o   Each jar is filled with around seven ounces of Snickers in powder form.

o   It's supposed to be for things like ice cream, milkshakes, pancakes, and frozen yogurt.

o   This isn't the first time a candy has been turned into a seasoning.  The same brand released a Twix version last year.

o   And before that, they did a Cinnamon Toast Crunch one called Cinnadust.

o   The Snickers version should be available everywhere by the end of the month.
