o Multiple sources are saying that the Grammy Awards are likely to be postponed due to the Omicron variant.
o The 64th annual Grammy Awards are set for January 31 at Crypto.com Arena in LA.
o This would be the second year in a row that the Grammys have been postponed due to Covid.
o Last year the show was set for January 31, 2021, but early in the month it was delayed to March 14th due to a spike in Covid cases in Los Angeles.
o A Recording Academy spokesman emphasized that no decision has been made and urged caution against speculation set off by an unnamed source.
o Jon Batiste is the top nominee this year with 11 nods, followed by Doja Cat, H.E.R., and Justin Bieber with eight nominations each.

o The NBA star posted the news and an apology to his former girlfriend and mother of his child, Khloe Kardashian, admitting that he is the father of Maralee Nichols’ son after a paternity test confirmed it.
o He wrote, "I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son. I sincerely apologize to everyone I've hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately."

o The new album features an interesting list of collaborators like Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones, and actor Jim Carrey.
o Carrey and the Weeknd met at his 30th birthday party where the two bonded over a conversation about telescopes.
o Carrey posted on social media yesterday saying, “I listened to Dawn FM with my good friend Abel @theweeknd last night. It was deep and elegant and it danced me around the room. I’m thrilled to play a part in his symphony.”
