Happy Fall Y'all! There is a lot of PS- Pumpkin Spice love happening this time of year. I'm a PS fan, but its nice to mix it up. This could be why I'm noticing many recipes popping up showing love to another Fall Fav ... Apple Cider! If you're already PS fatigued, give this a try! Both versions to fit your day / lifestyle. Enjoy!
Caramel Apple Sangria (Cocktail)
1 - 750 ml bottle of pinot grigio (or favorite mild white wine)
1 cup caramel flavored vodka
6 cups apple cider
2 medium apples, cored and chopped (washed)
Pour all the liquids in a pitcher. Add the chopped apples! Serve over ice!
My adds would be a dash of cinnamon or a cinnamon stick or two to soak with the fruit. Adding a cored & chopped bartlett pear would be yummy too. Chill for a few hours / over night so the liquid soaks into the fruit. Enjoy Responsibly! - Heather R.
Caramel Apple Cider Sangria (Mocktail)
1 bottle 750ml alcohol removed white wine/ KF: sparkling juice / apple juice
16 oz / 2 cups apple cider
12 oz non-alcoholic ginger beer / KF - ginger ale
3 oz caramel simple syrup - make / buy
1 pear thinly sliced
1 apple thinly sliced
2-4 cinnamon sticks (if large 2)
Place the washed sliced pear and apple with cinnamon sticks in a pitcher. Pour the liquids over them, and place in the refrigerator at least a couple hours to have the flavors develop. Stir & serve!
My adds. I'd add more fruit in this mocktail like the amount in the regular cocktail. I do like how this recipe has the liquids being poured over the fruit. I'd do that with either of these recipes. This mocktail could also be created even more kiddo-friendly. That's what KF means. - Heather R.
A yummy Fall moment without PS can happened!
