Drake’s pool parties aren’t quite what they used to be. What we can only imagine were once festivities filled with bountiful babes and adult beverages, are now replaced with balloons and ball pits - all for his baby boy Adonis.

And something else that’s different, the rapper, who is otherwise private when it comes to his son, uncharacteristically took to Instagram to share some pics off all the fun. “Pool parties at the YOLO sure do look different these days,” Drake captioned a collection of pics of three year-old Adonis and a friend.
In the photos the two boys played in a pool filled with balls, had their faces painted and carried balloon swords. Also spotted - a trampoline, so it was basically the perfect party.
Like we said, Drake rarely offers the public a glimpse into life as a dad, but when he does, it’s usually adorable, and we can’t get enough. Actually, now that we think about, Drizzy’s been a bit more open to Adonis being exposed to the world, a far cry from “not hiding my kid from the world,” but “hiding the world from my kid.”
Since the world was rocked with the news, Drake has sporadically shared glimpses of his boy on IG and more recently brought Adonis on stage while accepting Artist of the Decade at the Billboard Music Awards. Making it beyond apparent that Drake takes his daddy duties very seriously.
So whether the party is more champagne than papi or more papi than champagne, we want an invite nonetheless. Or at least for him to share some pics of it on IG later.
